Terms of Use

1. Who we are

MarketitNow is an online marketplace operated by Atlantean Globals Services, a company registered in the Netherlands under KVK number 89423496 ("MarketitNow", "we", "us"). MarketitNow connects buyers and sellers around the world so they can arrange trades directly with each other. We provide the platform — we are not a party to any transaction between users, and we do not own, inspect, or take possession of any item listed.

2. Who can use MarketitNow

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if higher, to create an account or use MarketitNow. By registering, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you'll keep it up to date. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

3. Listings and content

When you post a listing, you confirm that you have the right to sell the item, that your description and photos are accurate, and that the item complies with the laws that apply to you and, where relevant, to the buyer. You keep ownership of the content you post, but you give MarketitNow a license to display, reproduce, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the platform. We may remove or edit a listing at any time, without notice, if we believe it violates these terms or the law.

4. Prohibited items and conduct

The following are never allowed on MarketitNow, and listings or accounts involving them will be removed:

• Stolen, counterfeit, or unauthorized-replica goods
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or restricted weapon parts
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
• Protected or endangered wildlife, or parts or products derived from them
• Items whose sale is restricted or banned in the seller's or buyer's jurisdiction
• Fraudulent, misleading, or scam listings
• Content that is abusive, discriminatory, or that harasses another user
• Attempts to circumvent these terms, manipulate search or ranking, or create multiple accounts to evade a suspension

You're responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to what you're listing, including any import, export, or licensing requirements in your own country.

5. Fees

Using MarketitNow to browse, list, and message other users is currently free. Certain optional features, such as AI-assisted listing tools, may have paid tiers, described where they're offered. We'll give reasonable notice before introducing or changing any fee that applies to your existing use of the platform.

6. Transactions between users

MarketitNow is not a party to any sale and does not guarantee delivery or the outcome of any trade. For listings where the seller has enabled Direct Buy, your payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe, which pays the seller directly (minus MarketitNow' fee) once payment succeeds — we do not currently hold funds back pending delivery confirmation or resolve delivery disputes. For any purchase arranged outside Direct Buy, how you pay, meet, or ship is arranged directly between you and the other user, at your own discretion and risk. We strongly encourage following the safety practices in our Safety Center — meeting in public places, inspecting items before paying, and never sharing a one-time verification code.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

MarketitNow is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the accuracy of any listing, the identity or trustworthiness of any user, or the outcome of any trade. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarketitNow and Atlantean Globals Services are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from a transaction, interaction, or item exchanged between users. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited where you live, including under applicable EU consumer-protection law.

8. Your data

We collect the information needed to run your account and this platform, and we ask for your consent before using optional analytics cookies (see the cookie banner shown on your first visit). You can review and update your profile information, and permanently delete your account and its associated data, at any time from My Account. If you're in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR to access, correct, or erase your data — deleting your account exercises the right to erasure directly; you can also reach us with any other data request through our Feedback page.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or remove your listings at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these terms, the law, or another user's rights, or if your activity appears fraudulent or harmful to others. You may delete your own account at any time from My Account.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as MarketitNow grows or as legal requirements change. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continuing to use MarketitNow after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence. Nothing here limits your right to bring a claim in your local courts where the law entitles you to do so.
